This case presents a rare and innovative surgical approach in which a patient who underwent hip disarticulation was able to achieve ambulation using a transfemoral prosthesis, instead of the conventional hip prosthesis.
The article includes a video demonstrating the patient’s excellent gait performance post-rehabilitation.
